Additionally, MHI in Hardee County remains above the MHI of neighboring DeSoto County, and from 2022 to 2023, Hardee County’s MHI rose at a greater rate than DeSoto County’s MHI. A continued rapid rise in MHI above the statewide rate of increase would be a positive for residents of Hardee County.
